all right good morning
so it's a little past 9 A.M sitting here
this morning so far no trades nothing
that I am liking but let's look first to
the overall Market spy S P 500
so
you could see choppy yesterday you know
we were gapping up and then pulled back
back up back down back up so kind of
this resistance area up here
uh sold off a little bit but just
nothing really going on there
particularly exciting
uh VFS yesterday obviously got some
really good trades on this one uh you
know this was great to see got probably
the best exit for me was like
91.35 I think it was on that pop there
up to 93.
you know I wasn't sure how high it was
gonna go it it went higher and then
you know I mean it did go higher as the
day went on up to 93 but
you know I wasn't sure if it was going
to get over 100 if it was going to keep
going I mean you just never know so
obviously not swing trading it or
holding it overnight or anything like
that but just day trading price action
yesterday however more or less a double
top up here
you know it came back up to its
pre-market high of 92 but it wasn't able
to hold over that level so a double top
doesn't have to be exactly perfect you
know in this case it kind of broke a
little bit but it proved it could not
hold over that 90 level
um you know it struggled and we had a
couple of
pretty
nasty rejections yesterday off of that
90 level uh you could see there was one
like look at this candle at the open a
low of 76 and a high of 89. that was a
big candle and then it squeezes up here
we hit a high of 89 and then drops again
down to whatever 81. then it comes up
again and then it drops down so this
morning uh we are breaking down so at
this point it feels like we're on the
back side of the move and
you know if it does pop up that pops
will probably get
um faded that's my guess you know I I I
have a hard time
it's so extended you know the valuation
like everything else it
whether or not the founder sold any
shares I I haven't seen any filings
um any SEC filings indicating that so
you know I don't think that that's
what's going on but I think it's just
probably Traders are a little cautious
to buy it as it's this extended and so
it's kind of you know pulling back a
little bit and some shorts are probably
saying you know what this thing's so
extended it's time uh maybe to start
considering a short position
so I was checking it uh on my phone a
little bit yesterday as the you know I
was just like oh let's just kind of keep
a keep an eye on this thing
um
and there so there are options
um on it right now there's
um
but but the liquidity Is Not Great uh
and the premiums are
really quite High
sort of
ridiculously high
the pricing here is interesting
um
that's that's very interesting
um
the puts are definitely more expensive
than the calls
at the same strike price
so
I don't know you know people are betting
against it a little bit right now
so I was just checking on um TD
Ameritrade but anyways so yeah no not
really
I'm not really thinking that I'll take
any trades on that today at this point
it feels like any pops will probably get
faded
so I'm just gonna leave that leave that
be
all right so and today is day two of
streaming from Canada
uh so I am uh here in Canada
enjoying nice cool nights at the end of
August
sleeping in the van with the you know
windows open it's not like when I was in
Missouri the summer and needed the the
air conditioning cranking you know all
night long it's nice and cool up here
the ocean is just over that way and
there's some nice pasture out here so
and the starlink is um is is working
well although there are a couple of
clouds in the sky and uh that's I've
noticed my dropped frames are just a
little higher today than they were
yesterday
I don't know if those clouds have
anything to do with it I'm no scientist
uh
but the starlink has been a bit finicky
so
we'll see uh you know hopefully it holds
up tomorrow I don't know but
if those clouds are an indication of
rain coming in and again I'm no
meteorologist but as I see those clouds
and they are getting a little darker it
um
I suppose it's kind of like trading and
recognizing patterns
so that makes me wonder if internet
tomorrow won't be as good but we will
find out so anyways it's about ten past
nine
uh I still have my trades here but let's
see what I was gonna look at
um I was gonna look at
VFS
so
yeah
um
just curious what the volume has been
um
interesting
all right well
um
yeah so that's that's that but
I don't I just I wish I saw something
um
you know a bit more a bit more exciting
you can see the field out behind me
um
so let's see that's just the feel about
the back window
it's nothing too exciting but no
um wait a second well camera's turned on
what in the world
how did this happen
I can't believe you've had to look at me
through anything less than
a high quality camera well that doesn't
really look that great it's looking
through a tinted window okay give me a
break
um
all right well you know I tried so
that's the view out the window
um
that's the view of the the trading
station here I did

I did break my monitor yesterday right
there you can see it's um
it's broken
I was trying to get a little fancy and
anyways
um
fortunately I have a lot of these at
home so
I'll just replace it with one at home
but
yeah broke that
so
it's okay accidents happen
Okay so we've got about 15 minutes here

you think this is the worst pre-market
scan you've seen all year let's look at
volume highest volume is on tibc
hmm

our dog days of summer sale all right so
dog days of summer sale ends today if

I would say today's a day to
um
preserve capital
risk management
there's nothing really that's saying
trade me trade me
tibc I mean look at the top the top
gappers all have higher floats this is a
reverse oh no it's not a reverse split
um
let's see when
's
this one's pulling back though
um
right I'm sorted in terms of volume so
this one's pulling back GSAT
cheaper PDD ninety dollars a share
okay y o
pulling back too much
DMS is a reverse split today
into one
but I don't see any trade opportunities
on that one
so I think the game plan today is going
to be to sit tight be patient if
something does start to pop up that
looks good you know I'm happy to step up
to the plate but I'm not going to punch
the keys and
try to you know
trip over my own feet
you know trying to get a five cent
winner over something it's just not
worth it
so I'm waiting to see something that
makes a bigger move VFS by far was my
biggest
Wing stock of the month you know I mean
look this thing went from a low of 11
all the way up to 90 a share
that's that's a lot of opportunity in
there so you know there's enough
opportunity for everyone to have been
able to trade that
um and if you traded in you didn't make
money I think it's important to look at
what you did
wrong
because when you have a stock that goes
up that much you want to try to be
making money on it so
figure out what separates you from the
people that did make money on it what
did you do wrong what could you have
done better because you know there'll be
another one around the corner there's
always another one coming and if you
didn't trade the last one as well as
you'd like you got another chance when
the next one starts
so right now I'm kind of just going to
be patient until we see the next one
that really starts to open up
and I'm in a fortunate position where my
account right now is at all-time highs
it has never been higher than it is
right now in terms of my total
cumulative profit
and I do not need to trade just for the
sake of pressing the buttons every time
I press the button you know who gets
paid my broker and the exchanges
you know my they get paid no matter what
so I work for them in a lot of ways and
right now
I'm sitting in a place where unless
something really looks good I'm not
going to turn commissions and fees
for no benefit right I want you know I
want to trade something that I think I
actually have a chance of making money
on
so that's kind of my attitude today
but it is early so we may very well see
some action at the open I'm sure there's
um
I'm sure there's traders that you know
California West Coast traders that
haven't sat down yet
so we'll see if we get any more
any stocks hit the scanners that look
good

VFS popping up here but I'm not even
looking at the level two on it I think
unfortunately the daily chart is no
longer set up the way I would like it to
be
so hey if this thing rips to 90 and it
gets over 90 okay you know
uh all right but in the meantime uh I'm
just gonna
wait for something else
big hitting the scans there
it was on the scans a little earlier put
in this move here from 650 up to 750.
hmm
kind of just
I don't know don't really have any
strong opinion on it right now
all right so I've got a game plan here
