What's up, everyone? Welcome to day 28 of my small account challenge of growing a $2,000 account using Charles Schwab as my broker. I took a couple days off after that big red day on Tuesday. No trades on Wednesday. No trades on Thursday. It's not that I was really intending to take one or two days off. It's just that as I sat down, I was feeling a little nervous. I didn't want a second big red day. And so, I was being a little tentative on what I was willing to trade. And although I did end up taking trades in my main account, the setups just weren't quite strong enough for me to feel confident trading in the small account. So, I left it on the back burner, considering it, but no trades. And then today, same thing. We ended up having a stock that squeezed up over 500% and when it peaked at about 350%, I traded it in my main account and I was at three times my daily hot market goal, but I hadn't even touched it in the small account. Why not? Well, now I felt like I was being too nervous, too gun-shy, too afraid to pull the trigger. And now I was missing huge moves. Cuz, you know, granted, we had some decent action on Wednesday and Thursday. I was green both those days in my big account as well. And I got nothing in the small account. Now, this is the problem with taking a big loss. You start to get a little nervous. And so, then, you know, those trades on Wednesday and Thursday could have been small winners. They certainly wouldn't have made back $7,000, but I could have had some small progress. But instead, I got nothing. And so then today, I'm sitting, I'm sitting, I'm not taking any trades. And then finally, a setup kind of came into view and I was like, "Now, this is one that I feel pretty good about." I took the trade and I made over a dollar a share on that trade. So, even without a big position in terms of total number of shares, I was able to make over $4,000. And so now, boom, I made back more than half of the loss from Tuesday. It's going to take another day or two to recoup the the rest, no doubt about that, but this has been a really nice step back in the right direction. And we're going to break it down in today's episode. Now, as a reminder, all of the profits from the small account challenge is getting donated to charity. So, every time when I teach a class like this and do the recap, I'm giving you guys a chance to add to how much I'm donating. When you hit the thumbs up, I add an extra dollar. So, thank you guys for hitting the thumbs up and helping us raise money for a good cause. The goal is to donate to 50 children's hospitals across the United States. We've donated to 33 so far, and it's a total of $390,000 that I've donated. So, the last two hospitals were the Children's Hospital in Wisconsin and Sanford Health in South Dakota. So, today is day 28 and there was only one obvious stock. MGRX, as you might imagine here, up 123% but it's too cheap. REPL, higher float, some biotech news, FDA looking at approving one of their drugs, but just wasn't really in play, the float being higher. KUST, KUST, custom with a K. This one doesn't really do very well. So, really all eyes were on FCUV and it started at about 8:20 in the morning. All of a sudden, 8:19, boom, you see the stock first hit our scanners at $2.60. It goes to 269, 270, then it squeezes up to 410, 410, 425, 425, and man, this thing keeps going higher. In fact, as we speak right now, dare I dare I say I I bear I don't I don't I don't really want to look because I don't want to get FOMO, but it just hit $14.91. It's halted up and as of right now, it's up 693%. Wow. And I you know, I that's that's unbelievable. So, I guess I left some money on the table. But, there you go. That's the FOMO kind of kicking that oh, I coulda, woulda, shoulda. If I was still holding now, I'd be up and you start doing the math and then that's where you get yourself into a little bit of a a pickle. So, so this is the profit right here. $4,129.25 at day 28. Let me just correct that. Only took one trade today, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to break this down on the main screen here just so we can kind of get into the weeds here looking at the the price action. So, FCUV pops up here initially just takes off, goes up to 420, pulls back, pops up, pulls back, and it rips all the way up to eight. So, in here where coulda, woulda, shoulda have taken a trade in the small account? Maybe right there for 80 or for the break of $5. However, that would have been kind of tricky because it had just dropped to to four, a dollar a share before ripping back up. So, the entry there at four, stop is like a dollar away. That's that's a little risky. It ends up going, it pulls back through this area. It was heavy. At seven, you know, 50 area, it drops down, then it rips up here, it breaks through eight, and it goes up to 960. Nice. But then we get a topping tail. Pulls back, comes back up another topping tail. So, where in here could I have traded in the small account? You know, I mean, I could have taken the trade right there for the break of eight, but again, that's kind of risky. The stop is a dollar a share away. And these attempts here failed. So, I probably would have been concerned about a failure there. That's why I didn't trade in the small account there. Ends up going up here to a high of 1025, and then that's your first jackknife. This flushed back down. Maybe it's not the first one. There were I know that there were a couple. So, now it's showing this tendency. It ends up pulling back down toward towards the volume weight average price, goes sideways for a bit, and then coming a little bit closer to the open, it rallies back up. That surprised me, and I'll tell you why. I had drawn an ascending support line right around here. Let's see. Connects it to the low down there and uh No, it was it was actually right here that I drew it. And the reason I drew it here, I connected the low there, and then that felt like it was sort of below it, then back above it, then below it, and resistance. So, when we start to come back up here, I was worried about this resistance point. And then we do an inverted head and shoulders pattern right here, and at the 9:30 opening bell we break through 10, and we rip up to 11.50. I bought 3,000 shares right here at $10, and I sold as we squeezed up over $11. So, that was it. In at 10, and out at like 11.25, 11.15, whatever it was. That was the trade. That was it. Now, it ends up reversing, dropping back down as you can see right here. Um and I'm thinking that's it. It comes back up here, and I was like I almost took a trade right here. Uh because it was showing a halt, and then it dipped, and the halt level moved up, and I almost punched it, and I said, "You know, that's a little too aggressive, and look at that line." And I held off. It ends up pulling back, and then ripping up here uh into this halt. So, you know, did I leave some money on the table? Maybe. Uh but, you know what? Maybe I would have given back profit if I kept trading. So, you know, the the At the end of the day, the stock is up over 600% right now. It's got a float of Well, jeez, less than a million shares. Um it's the daily level actually um that I was noting was um the bottom of the the top of this candle there at $16.57. That above that gave us room up to uh 21.28. Then above that, we have room up to the top of this candle, and then we're at the 200-moving average. I don't think that we're going to be able to do all of that today. I would be shocked if we could, but on the other hand, it seems that um shorts are getting squeezed. So, I you know, at this point I'm I'm on the sidelines. It's incredible to see this degree of momentum. Um, you know, but at the same time, um, you've got to be grateful for what you've got. And uh, when you overstay your welcome, that that in a way, it says that you're not happy with $4,000. You wanted more. You know, this wasn't enough. Now, this is this is a great amount of money. This is a great day. I think the only uh, mental issue is that I made all of it right in here. And so, you know, then you're like, "Well, jeez, if I had kept trading it here and here and here, now would I be up 10,000 or more?" Right? And so, all of a sudden that makes this feel insignificant in comparison. Comparison is the thief of joy. If you step back and you just say, "Hey, I made $4,000 today." You go outside, you go you go for a walk, you go down to the post office, you go grab a cup of coffee, you go in the grocery store, and you think, "I made $4,000 today?" That's an awesome day. And look, is it is FCUV the last stock that's going to go up 700% this year? Of course, it's not. This is a great move. It wasn't perfect. There will be others, arguably, that are even cleaner. This one was good, but it wasn't perfect. I did the best I could on it, and I'm walking away in the green. That means I get to live to trade another day. I'll be back at it on Monday morning for day 29. Now, I I want to remind you guys, as always, I say this a million times, trading is risky. My results aren't typical. I've been doing this for a long time. Now, what I demonstrate here is the strategy that I trade every single day, and that strategy's based on looking for the leading gainer, the most obvious stock in the market, and today it just so happened that stock went up over 700% coming in now at uh, 800% on the day. That's incredible. Not every day is as big of a move as that. Some days are smaller, and so, you know, you you I I I do the best I can, but uh, this is a really nice day. So, as of right now the account's up 35 up to $35,000 balance up over 1,600% 60 trades 76% accuracy and please if you haven't already checked out the 2-week trial link is pinned at the top of the comments and in the description so you can watch over my shoulder as I continue growing the account and continue raising money to donate to children's hospitals. Reminder again, trading is risky. My results are not typical and there is no guarantee you'll find success whether you trade with me or you learn on your own. So, manage your risk by practicing in a simulator before you ever put real money on the line. I'll be back at it bright and early on Monday morning.
