What's everyone? Well, I'm as surprised as you are. We just had an 800% short squeeze on the last day of July. It came out of nowhere. In fact, I had fairly low expectations for the morning today. And a Friday, end of the month, you know, I just I didn't think we were going to get much. Yesterday was a little tricky. We had that one stock that was pretty obvious, but you know, I I sort of fumbled it and UWE. It just it wasn't as clean as I kind of hoped it would be. And then this morning, well, yesterday after hours we had CYCU that kept squeezing higher. It was a penny stock, but it ended up going up to about $3 a share. The 200 moving average was at 324. And so this morning it was sort of going sideways. It was very thickly traded. Huge stacks of buyers, even bigger stacks of sellers, and I just thought, "Is this the best we're going to get?" It was up 68%. And I sort of sort of figured, well, you know, may- maybe that's the best we're going to get and I'm not going to get any trades on it. And it is what it is. It's just going to be a no trade day. So I was sitting 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, no trades. 8:15, you know, just still sitting tight. Then all of a sudden, my power goes out. All right, so my power goes out, all my computers shut off, and I hear the generator kick on, and I'm like, you know, "Gosh darn it. Thank goodness I wasn't in a trade." Now, I I used to always use laptops specifically for this purpose, and I have everything connected to an uninterrupted power supply, but the not not the big desktop computer. So my internet didn't go out. My laptop over here was fine, but the desktop went off. So powered back up, and by the time it's powered back up, I see FCUV hitting the scanner and it's at $4.90 a share. And I was like, "What did I just miss? This is crazy." So I pull up the chart, and uh by golly, this thing was on the move. Uh I jumped in. And I chased it a little bit. Um I got in actually, my best entry was just under $6. That was my first entry, just under $6. And it squeezed up to seven, up to eight, and I booked uh my profit on that very first trade. So, I got in uh right in the middle of that candle at six. I jumped in, held on, we got the squeeze up to eight, I was out, got out, got back in right here for the break at eight, we squeezed up to nine, up to 10, we pulled back, and then last trade on this was coming into the open right there for the squeeze up to 11.50. I I then said I'm done because this high volume red candle to me was an indicator that we were not going to push higher. And so, I'm surprised but impressed that we were able to push higher all the way to a high of $17 a share, over 17, putting it up at that time over 800% on the day. Now, it's coming back down to earth a little bit. Now, we're um at uh a halt down at 11.77, but showing a resumption quote of $10. Highly volatile stock, but no doubt the leading gainer in the entire market. I'm up $62,000 in my main account. I'm up $4,000 in the small account. What a way to finish the month. The only thing that could have made this a little bit better, I suppose, is if I had some trades on Wednesday or Thursday, so the small account would be finishing the month at the highs. The small account is still in a drawdown from the $7,000 loss I took on Tuesday. Um the big account's at all-time highs. I had the loss on Tuesday, which you may recall, I'll pull up my metrics here. Uh this was my this was the month coming into today. I was at $261,000 on the month. Um you know, and then all of a sudden, this is going to put me up to 320,000. So, that was uh I wasn't expecting that, but I'm grateful for it. Uh but this was the month. Really nice, really nice, and then choom, $30,000 red day. And then here, I was up $56,000 on the day, and I gave back a lot of it and finished at 22. Then here, I finished at 24, which was my high of day, but because neither of those days I made as much as I lost on this day, there was still a bit of a feeling of, man, I really got smoked on Tuesday. So, two small days to make it back. All right, well, they're not small, but you know, you get the idea. Took It took a little bit. And so, then anyways, I just sort of thought, let's just kind of slow down here for the end of the week. Maybe it won't even get any trades at all. And then, you know, boom, $60,000 green day. That's going to be the biggest green day of the month. That's just, you know, you This is the thing, you just never know. And this is why I show up every day, because you never know when you're going to get a stock that squeezes up 800%. Why did this one work so well while others during the week, you know, with similar news, similar kind of setups, similar, you know, floats, similar daily charts, why did they not work? And this is the thing that sometimes you just won't know. It and there's a certain element um where, you know, we're subject a little bit to just the whim of the market, you know? What What are the dynamics of this individual company? Does this individual company need to raise money? Maybe they do and they start selling right away and that prevents them from going higher. Maybe they don't, they don't sell, and the stock keeps going up. What about NUWE yesterday? That one just kept running into sellers. Maybe they were selling. You know, you you don't know exactly. Are there insiders that have been holding this thing for a long time who want to get out? Are there institutional investors who got in at some point who want to get out? And on a day when the stock's up 500% on 40 50 million shares of volume or more, it's a great opportunity to dump those shares. So, when that is the case, then we can see a lot of selling and it essentially prevents the stock from continuing higher. And those variables are so specific to the company um and a lot of them are outside what we can actually see. Yes, we can look at the filings, we can see if they have a shelf registration, we can see how much money they have, but we're not we're not insiders, so we don't know what they're thinking. We can speculate, but we don't know. And then another variable is the overall market. So, uh someone was asking me, you know, what about setting up some kind of like trading bot where anytime a news headline came out with like these words, you just you know, initiate a trade. And I said, well, you know, think about that. Last year, the crypto treasury strategy was working really well. Every time we had a crypto treasury strategy catalyst, the stock would rip up. And it we got to a point where it was so predictable, many of us were able to do really well and make a lot of money on it. But eventually that stopped working. So, you know, at at certain point you would have begun incurring losses or noticed the winners getting smaller and smaller and smaller, and then needed to change the algorithm. Now, this year there hasn't been a clear headline that every time we get it, your, you know, stock is going to rip up 100%. It's been much more hit or miss. In fact, we've had a lot of stocks that have made big moves without any news whatsoever. And this headline here from 3:00 in the morning, why did it why did the stock wait until, you know, whatever time this was, 8:15, 8:20 to start squeezing up? I don't know. We may never know. Some of you, if you know, you'll tell me in the comments. But, you know, this is one of these things where sometimes we're just kind of scratching our head at why this one moved so cleanly and why others failed. CYCU, this is the one that was moving up but very thickly traded. Guess what? They did a secondary offering. Yeah, that makes sense. That explains why it was so heavy, and naturally the price has come back down. And UWE, you know, this one, that's come back down. Oh, guess what? A secondary offering. I'm not surprised at all. We could see it in the price action as it was moving higher. It was clear as could be. So, you know, today FCEV, maybe later in the morning they're going to start selling. Maybe they will. But, the morning so far has been pretty solid. Um so, you know, shorts might be also just trading the inverse counter trend tra- strategy of, you know, looking for the reversal back down. This is looking like, you know, a sort of a head and shoulders pattern. So, you know, that may end up being the case, but that it pulls back. But, in any event, uh we got some good opportunities today. It was a bit of a surprise, but stepped up to the plate, locked up some trades, and I peaked at about $67,000, and I'm at $62,000 now. So, I gave back about five grand off the top. Um but, I'm okay with that. I think that that means that I uh probably squeezed about as much as I could, and then knew to step back before I gave back more. And that's an important lesson to learn. So, uh so, that's my recap for the day, but let me remind you as always that trading is risky. My results aren't typical, and there's no guarantee you'll find success whether you trade with me or you learn on your own. So, please manage your risk by always practicing in a simulator before putting real money on the line. All right, with that, I'll see you guys back at it bright and early Monday morning at 7:00 a.m.
