What's up, everyone? Welcome to day 29 of my small account challenge of growing a $2,000 account using Charles Schwab as my broker. This is going to be a special recap because today is the biggest green day I have had so far during the small account challenge. My account today is up over 30% in one day. That is phenomenal. I didn't see this coming. You know, it just goes to show why it's so important to show up every single day. It's Monday. It's the first day of a new month. My expectations were set relatively low and yet we had a stock that squeezed up over 500% and that was the one that I absolutely did the best on. Now, I did have a second stock that I traded and I stopped out of it for a loss in the small account. Now, I decided not to get back in in the small account but I ended up trading in the big account for a profit. So, we're going to actually break down both my small account and my main account trades during this recap. So, let's go ahead and jump on the screen share and get into it. As a reminder, as always, all the profit from the small account challenges is getting donated to charity and today we crossed over $400,000 in money raised. This is of course a combination of my own profit that I'm making in the small account but I'm also adding extra dollar to how much I donate every time you guys hit the thumbs up on the episodes in this series. So, I donated today $5,000 to a children's hospital in Mississippi and another $5,000 to a children's hospital in Michigan bringing our total donations to $400,000. This is phenomenal. We are now at 35 children's hospitals that we've donated to. The goal is 50. So, let's keep this going. All right. So, day 29, there was one obvious stock and it was HYFM. This stock, as of right now, has over 75 million shares of volume but of course, as always, the volume sort of is just increasing as the day goes on. I'm sure it'll be over 100 million shares by the end of the day. Um but this is a screenshot that I grabbed when it was about $3.18 and it was already up over 488%. So, by far, it was the leading gainer. Now, this morning, it's Monday morning and so I did a watch list yesterday and my watch list yesterday covered two of the stocks that I thought were worth keeping an eye on. One of them was, let's see, UPC right here. UPC had a big move. I'll just close this to make it easier to read. So, UPC had a big move on Friday in the after-hour session. It squeezed from about $3.90 up to a high of eight, pulled back, and closed. And so, I said, this is going to be something I would watch going into Monday morning. Well, Monday morning it squeezes up immediately. I didn't take that trade. It was too early for me. Rejects VWAP, sells off, comes back up to VWAP at around 7:00 a.m. here, and then rejects again, and goes lower. So, there were no opportunities to trade UPC even though today it is up 90%. All of that is because of it's measured against the closing price on Friday of regular trading hours. So, UPC, I had it on watch, it ended up not working. FCUV, I had this one on watch as well. Huge move on Friday. We'll switch to the 5-minute chart so it's easier to read. So, this one had a big move on Friday. I had absolutely crushed it, did really well trading this. We got this squeeze from $2 up to nine, pulls back, goes higher, and ends up holding up all day long. Even into after hours it goes a little higher. So, pre-market it pops up again, it pulls back, it comes back up here, pulls back, comes back up here, and I actually traded it in my big account right there, and I lost on it. First trade of the day, I was down $1,100 on FCUV, which is a little bit of a bummer. But, it is what it is. So, the two stocks that I was watching from Sunday, UPC and FCUV, neither of them ended up actually working out. In fact, the stocks that did work out, as you could see here, was EZRA, HYFM, and those are the same stocks I traded in the small account. In the small account, I didn't trade FCUV. Why is that? The price. It's just too It was too expensive. So, I didn't want to get into trading FCUV up at $20 a share. I just didn't feel like I could do very well on it. Now, in my big account, I you know, I I don't mind using the buying power. I've got a little bit more cushion of profit. So, I took the risk. Didn't end up working, but that's all right. So, first trade of the day was in and out on FCUV. Didn't touch it in the small account, but broke the ice in the big account. And then, all of a sudden, we end up having HYFM start to pop up. So, this one hit our high of day momentum scanner right here at about 7:30. All right. So, 7:30, it came out with news here, and it just skyrockets. Unbelievable. Huge move. It's a US company. I mean, this headline doesn't even necessarily sound all that exciting to me, but it goes to $1.14, $1.50, $1.80, up to two, up to 2.89. And so, if we look at that chart, the way it unfolded was it was one of those stocks that basically, you know, sort of in an instant went straight up. And so, if we look at this chart here, these are always interesting when this occurs. So, it basically went from 50 cents a share to $3 in an instant. Now, it could have come all the way back down, and then it's just it's dead. That's it. But, it came down, but then it based out right here, and it held. So, as it held that level, this was where it started to get interesting for that curl back up. So, let's kind of dial that in. So, this is the 10-second chart on HYFM. And so, it had this initial pop, and then it pulls back. No trades there. Then it comes back up. Still no trades. Pulls back. And right here, I was looking at this high. I drew this yellow line at $2.10. So, we have this high right here, and we broke through it. We go up to a high of about 240, and I I was like, I don't know. It was very thickly traded. Big sellers on the ask, big buyers on the bid, but it was very thickly traded. So, I was like, I don't know if this is going to work. It breaks through this level. I don't trade it. It comes back down, and this is a classic retesting of previous resistance. So, then this resistance line flips from being resistance to becoming support. And so, then right here, we're getting a wedge off support. And I ended up jumping in right here as it starts to curl up for the break through 240, and then adding for 250. And we end up getting this squeeze all the way up to $3. So, on that first trade, I was in and I was out. 10,000 shares, made 40 cents per share of profit, was up four grand. Solid. Right here, I add back. It squeezes up then to 367. Amazing. Then it pulls back, it dips back down. It comes back up right through here. I add for the break of 380 for four, and I end up taking a loss. So, now one, two winners, one loser. It then comes back up here. I add back again. I have another winner right here. Then it pulls back. I wait, I wait, I wait, and I get this trade right here for the break through 350 and the retest of four. And those five trades combined gave me a profit of $10,927.17. Bring the account up to From a starting balance today of about 35,000. So, really solid trades there. That was HYFM. Now, I will say HYFM I prioritized in the small account. And the reason I was prioritizing it in the small account was because I was like, "Wow, this is a stock I can actually buy 10,000 shares of? If this thing goes up 40, 50 cents a share, I'm going to make four or five grand." Obviously, FCUV, I wasn't trading in the small account cuz it was too expensive. And, you know, sometimes we have stocks that are five, seven, eight dollars a share, which I'm happy to trade in the small account, but which I can't afford to take a very big position. So, this is one of the lower priced ones that I actually thought had the potential to give a big move, and as it turned out, I was right. But as a result of focusing on it in the small account, the main account kind of took the back seat. So, in the main account, I did get a trade on it, but my first trade was a little bit later. It was a little more extended. I punched it. I did end up having a good profit. I think the first account trade was right in here. Now, now is that right? Now, I can't remember. Let me go back and look. So, my first trade was on FCUV, and then this one was at 8:00. So, no, so it was actually back here. Okay, so it was right here. This is my first account my first trade in the big account right here. And I jumped in this down here. It must have been 355 was my entry, and then adding at 360, 369, and for the break of 380, and looking for the squeeze through four. And so, on that trade right there, I had a profit, but you could see it rejected pretty aggressively. And then I got back in up here on this micro pullback at four, and flush. Took a loss. So, gave back some profit on it. Then it comes back up a little bit later, and I jumped back in right here, thinking we were going to curl, and that again rejected. So, my big account did not do as well on HYFM as a small account. And it's just from prioritization standpoint that today I sort of put the small account first. Now, it's also worth noting that, you You the small account was still in a drawdown coming into today, right? I had lost $7,000 last Tuesday. And then I didn't trade Wednesday or Thursday. And then I trade on Friday and I made four grand. I think it was Yeah, it was $4,000 I made on Friday. So, the account was still in a $3,000 drawdown. So, you know, I kind of was motivated to try to recover the rest of that loss if I could or at least, you know, continue to chip away at it. And then HYFM, which is kind of the right price to do that. So, anyway, so I ended up getting those trades on HYFM really solid. Again, not 100% accuracy on it. Was green on four out of the five trades, but that's still pretty good. 80% is good. So, then we had EZRA hit the scanner. And this is an hour later, 8:30. It hits the scanner, it starts squeezing up and it goes up like 70%. I don't trade it as it you know, it's first popping up here in the small account. I'm not quite sure. It ends up hitting this high of 380, pulling back, selling off. And then it kind of comes back up here and I punched it right here looking for that curl up through the new high of day. It was very heavy. There were lots of sellers. And I got in and got out with a loss. I bought 5,000 shares. I lost about 9 cents a share. $446. And I said, "You know what? That's it." So, in total today, I had six trades, four winners and two losers, which brings my accuracy in this challenge down a little bit to 75%. But the account's up over 2,000% and I'm I'm now at $45,909.81 cents in profit, which is phenomenal. So, the small account is doing really well. Now, in the big account, I actually continued to trade EZRA. And so, I'm actually up a little bit more. I will I'm I'm green in the small account on EZRA. In fact, I'm up more on it than HYFM. So, as EZRA ended up continuing to move higher, I kind of felt like it was becoming more of an expert level stock. You know, it was just So, this was where I had taken the loss uh in the small account, and then it pulls back, comes back up here, and I end up trading it in these areas here, just jumping in and out really quickly, but doing 15, 20,000 share positions. So, 5 cents is a thousand bucks, 10 cents is 2,000 bucks. So, I got a couple little trades there, in and out, in and out. Then it pulls back, and then at the open, suddenly it squeezes up, and I jumped in here for the break of four, and we got this nice squeeze up to 440. It pulls back, I got in for the break of the high, we end up going up to 460. So, I ended up making $11,000 on um EZRA, which brings my daily total in the main account to just under 20,000. Hot Market daily goal is 20 grand a day. So, 20 grand right there in the in the main account, my retirement account, plus 10,000 in the small account, and donating um that profit uh to charity right away today. So, donated $5,000 to the Michigan Children's Hospital, um and then donated $5,000 here to uh Children's Hospital in Mississippi. So, you know, today's a great day, a great start to the month. I couldn't ask for much more than that. Small account challenge is making progress. So, uh let's keep this going. Thank you guys for hitting the thumbs up. It'll add an extra dollar to how much we donate. If we go back to the top of this um sheet, you'll see at the green line is my trading profits, which exploded in the first 7 days of my small account challenge, cuz I was using six times leverage, and I made like 60 grand in those first 6 days. Uh and then you guys said, "We We want to see you trade like uh small account challenge without leverage." So, I reset the account. Um I guess I did it Actually, this is going to be more like here, to $2,000. It was right about there. Um And so, I did a small account challenge there, and then I reset it again somewhere in this area. It must have been like right after kind of that day. So, anyways, um and then I reset it again uh as you guys know. This is not like perfectly organized. So, I'll do it like this. But, anyways, so the green line is my profit. So, that red day that you can see there, the dip right here, was where I lost 7,000, but I've now recovered that as of today, which is great. And then the main red line is actually the thumbs up that you guys have been giving during this challenge. So, I have donated $295,000 on your behalf from you guys hitting the thumbs up. And then about $105,000 from my own trading profits during the challenge. So, that's where we're at right now, and this is the I guess it's the fourth challenge. Yeah, I can't remember. It had Schwab, and then WeBull, and then there was a short Robinhood one, and then back to Schwab here. So, anyways, thank you guys for being part of this challenge. I really appreciate you. It, you know, gives me kind of the excitement each time I reset the account that I know you guys are here supporting me and hitting those thumbs up. So, thank you guys, and remember as always, if you want to trade and be in the chat room and use the software that I'm using every single day, you can watch us over my shoulder as I'm trading. This is the monitor that you see. We've got two-week trial. It's two weeks for 20 bucks. You're going to learn a ton during that two-week trial, and you'll have access to this same software right here for charting, scanning, breaking news, and the chat rooms. So, check it out. I think you guys will enjoy it, and I'll see you back here first thing tomorrow morning bright and early streaming at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. And don't let me forget to remind you, as always, trading is risky. My results aren't typical, and there's no guarantee you'll find success whether you trade with me or you learn on your own. So, the best way you can manage your risk is by practicing in a simulator, proving profitability there before you ever put real money on the line. So, with that, I'll see you guys bright and early tomorrow morning.
