What's up everyone? All right, so today unfortunately is a red day recap. As you can see, I'm down 17,56130. This is disappointing and a little bit surprising. OPTX was the first stock I traded and I lost 4,300 on it. And I was shocked. I was shocked because the stock comes out with a headline that they've got a space optics order. I click on it. Weekly satellite launches, low orbit. I'm like, this is on theme compared to the big move we had on STI. STI was a stock that went up, what was it? Uh, several thousand%. We had ACT that went up uh several thousand% as well. So, I felt like this was right on theme. It was exactly what I've been looking for. I jumped in, bought 20,000 shares immediately. I was like, "This is it. We've got a space theme. Everything seems right on this and it totally rejected OPTX. So, it pops up to a high of 16 and it flushes back down. And I was able to unwind it with only a 20cent loss. But honestly, I I was really surprised. I was really surprised that didn't hold up and continue going higher. I'm not really sure what to think about that. I part of me is like, is space not a thing anymore? This is in spite of the fact that SpaceX is continuing to push higher. I mean, SpaceX is doing phenomenally well. It's up another 14% today. I'm still holding my shares, by the way, from $135 a share that I got at the IPO. So, I mean, this is they're up almost $100 a share. It's unbelievable. Phenomenal move. So, I really thought a space headline would be wellreceived in the market and I was wrong. So, I cut the loss. Now, the next trade I took was TDIC. And this morning, we had a couple stocks that put in these big squeezes. So, TDIC was one of them from $6 to 16. CRA was another one. This one went from $4 to9. We had WNW that popped up. There were a few others that popped up. and TDIC when this one started to squeeze up. Uh I missed it early, but then it started to come back up and we I had two trades on it. My first trade was actually right down here, which was a little risky. It was below the VWAP, but I was looking for that curl back up and I made a little bit of money on it. Made about $2,000. So, I was down 1,900 on the day after that first trade. And then when it comes back up again, I got back in. I got back in here. here as it squeezed through 10, it breaks up to 1050, goes up to 11, it pulls back. I add right here for the pop back over 1150, that 1 minute micro pullback, and it jammed back down. And on that one, I also had 20,000 shares. And on that flush back below VWAP, I stopped out. And so I went from green $2,000 on it to red 13. So it was a $15,000 loss. And with that, uh, now I'm down 17,000 on the day. And so as we got closer to the open, we didn't have a setup like we had yesterday that was squeezing right into the open for a gap and go trade. So that was out. I didn't have that opportunity. I felt like I was running out of time. Now, could I have jumped into SpaceX at the open? Obviously, I could have. It's been very volatile. It's not been my plan to continue to day trade this on a daily basis, but instead just hold the shares I have from the IPO at 135 and just see how long I can hold them before I get stopped out with a profit stop, which at this point is going to be a little bit below $200. So, you know, I just keep moving my stop up and as long as I don't get stopped up stopped out, then, you know, I'm happy to let it keep riding. But um the next level I'll move that up to would probably be like two maybe 215. Not yet, but slightly below volume weight average price. In any case, um yesterday you guys did end up having a big move on RG&T after the open. And so part of me has thought, well, maybe we'll see something like that again today, you know, and maybe I should stick around for that opportunity. I could chip away a little bit of this loss. 17,000 in the red is a big loss. And in the cold market, I would definitely be below max loss, but we're not in a cold market anymore. I've been averaging well, we could check to see what my daily average has been um this month. That's actually a good idea because um when I check my daily average, I usually use that as my daily max loss, whatever my daily average has been for the last uh two weeks or so. So, logging into trader view here and we'll just look at the month of uh June so far. So, let's see. I'll put this up here for you guys to see. So, for June, we're just going to do this month. Click. So, currently up $427,000. Average daily gain 53,000. 74% accuracy. $7,200 winners, $3,400 losers. So, you know, I don't want to lose $53,000 today, but um I could probably tolerate being down a little bit more if I felt that I had a good riskto-reward ratio on that setup. Uh but that may not happen. As we sit right now, SUGP, this one had a big move. I didn't trade it. I felt like it was too thickly traded. I left it alone. CCTG, this is the one that I actually lost on uh last week. lost $27,000 on this stock last week um on this day here. And um you know, I'm not not interested in it down here. To me, it's just a little bounce off that big move. So, no interest in that. OBI is too cheap. IVDA too cheap. So, you know, TDIC had a chance to get back through 12 and then we were looking for a squeeze back to 16, but it just didn't happen. So unfortunately it feels like um you know maybe well your best bet would be some kind of late morning move I suppose um but maybe today's just a miss and my best bet is just going to be to wait until tomorrow. So the good news was that at least I had a good trade in the small account today. I didn't take that same trade in this account. And the reason was was because by the time I pulled it up in this account, I realized that that stock was easy to borrow and I didn't actually check that before taking my first trade in it with a small account. If I had seen that, I probably wouldn't have taken the trade. It was a winner, but the stock didn't hold up very well. And I think part of that was because it was easy to borrow. So, in any case, this is where I sit right now. I'm a little bummed out. you know, we've been having a really nice hot streak, but um you know, is this the end of the hot streak? Is this just going to be cold now for the rest of the week, or is today just a day where I got on the wrong side of a couple of stocks? It's I guess a little too soon to tell for sure. Um I did get on the wrong side of a couple stocks today. TDIC was sort of a curl back up. OPTX was breaking news. I thought it was on theme. I guess I was wrong. So, you know, pre-market was definitely colder today, but I think by the end of the day this uh later this afternoon, we'll know, you know, if we had another stock like RG&T that made a big move. If we had another one of these today or we do have another one, then yeah, I think the market's still pretty hot. If we don't, then yeah, today's definitely a cooler day. Um, and wouldn't be really exactly clear why. Um, I'm not sure that people are just switching to trade SpaceX. I I think that that's at $200 a share. Um I mean, I guess you could trade options and stuff, but it seems awfully risky to be trying to day trade that. So, I think that I think probably um I don't know. We we've we've had this theme in the last week or so of Chinese stocks with no news popping up and squeezing, which is a little unusual. Uh we've seen it before, but uh it's a tough theme to kind of wrap your head around. So, if that is coming to an end or we switch to stocks with more clear catalyst, that would be fine with me. But, um hopefully we continue to see the high relative volume that we've had in the past week because that's what's given us the opportunity to really lock up um some pretty big gains. So, um yeah. So, anyways, I sit right now in a great place on the month. Um although giving back just a little bit today. So, I want to make sure I don't give back too much more as you know, either today or as the days go on, I've got to make sure I kind of keep a tight leash on this. If it continues to be slow, if we see things bounce back, we see a couple stocks that halt up, you get a nice dip and rip and a surge higher, then all of a sudden, you know, it's like, okay, today's the day I mismanaged risk, but the market was still hot and tomorrow should still be, you know, some decent opportunities. So ultimately I'll have a better ability to gauge that by the end of the day today and then early tomorrow morning than I can say right now. Uh but that's okay. I don't have to know right now. I right now we have unknowns. And that's part of being a trader is making decisions with unknowns and recognizing that you know as time goes by we will gain more information. So when I have more information at the end of the day today and tomorrow morning, I can then use that to make a decision of how many shares I could take tomorrow and what my max loss should be. As of right now, it wouldn't make sense to decide what my max loss should be for tomorrow or how many shares to take because I don't know if this is the end of the hot streak or this is just a blip um in the middle of a hot streak. So, time will tell. All right, with that, um I'll remind you guys as always that trading is risky. Easy come, easy go. You've seen me have some big wins over the last couple weeks and you've seen me catch a few losses and today I'm on um the red side, but I'll be back at it first thing tomorrow morning streaming at 7 a.m. So, I will see you guys then. And I encourage you to take it slow and always practice in a simulator before putting real money on the line.
